Black Madeira produces small to medium fruit with an elegant, elongated shape, nearly black skin, and a dense, glistening crimson interior. At peak ripeness, the flesh becomes remarkably thick and syrupy, delivering an unforgettable combination of blackberry preserves, black cherry, raspberry reduction, cassis, dried fig, and red wine.
