The fruit has a thick, gelatinous interior with a pleasantly crunchy texture from its abundant seeds. Its flavor is truly unique, reminiscent of classic strawberry hard candies, delivering a bright, nostalgic strawberry sweetness unlike almost any other fig variety.
The slightly chewy skin complements the dense, rich flesh and adds to the memorable eating experience. Shasta Strawberry has shown impressive productivity and continues to gain attention among fig enthusiasts for its exceptional flavor and unusual characteristics.
As a recent introduction, Shasta Strawberry is still being evaluated by growers. At the time of its release, its common (self-fertile) status had not yet been confirmed, making it an exciting variety for collectors and fig enthusiasts.

If your order arrives damaged or in poor condition, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the plant and packaging.
