Green Michurinska

Green Michurinska is an exceptional Bulgarian fig discovered as a wild tree by the collector known as PenandPike. First introduced to the fig community in 2015, the original tree was found growing unprotected in Bulgaria, where it attracted attention for its remarkable combination of cold hardiness, early ripening, and outstanding fruit quality. Pen named the variety Green Michurinska because it resembled the well-known Michurinska-10 in appearance, though it has since proven to be a distinct cultivar with an entirely different eating experience.
