Raspberry Latte is a unique California fig discovered as a chance seedling by Jon Verdick in San Diego. The original tree was reportedly found growing beneath a coffee tree, inspiring its memorable name. Since its introduction, Raspberry Latte has become a favorite among collectors for its distinctive flavor profile, beautiful dark fruit, and excellent eating quality. Believed to be a member of the Black Mission family of seedlings, this self-fertile variety has developed a strong reputation as one of California's most interesting modern fig discoveries.

The medium-sized figs ripen to a deep purple-black exterior with a vibrant raspberry-red interior that is both juicy and richly flavored.
